How do we know when to use either the equation of bonds broken - bonds formed or the delta h of products - reactants and where does the standard state delta h value of 0 come into play?
If the problem gives you delta H's for bonds broken/made then you know its reactants - products but if they give you delta H's of products then its products - reactant. hope that made sense
