Anybody work with, have expertise regarding, or simply have experience with kids about 2-3 years old and have some books you can recommend? I'm not asking for suggestions aimed at a specific purpose, just looking for any "healthy" suggestions to beef up a collection.

For instance, books that help them learn about emotions and how to deal with them would be awesome. Books that combat gender stereotypes would be awesome. Books that introduce the topic of race in a positive and diversity affirming way would be awesome.

Open to all healthy/non-dodgy suggestions. The non-dodgy comment comes from experiences with some more vintage offerings aimed at little ones. Some are a bit dodgy...

Bonus points for books with human characters instead of anthropomorphized animals.

The Way I Feel by Janan Cain is a pretty good board book
