Congrats on finishing that tough first year. Light at the end of the tunnel!
Here's what was on my bookshelf at that time:
-
Swanson's Family Practice :good overview of every branch of medicine, with a front-line office/generalist lens
-
Primary Care Secrets : easy question and answer format, very crammable if you want to cover all necessary internal medicine in 1 weekend
😏
-
Merck Manual : The bible of medicine, literally, those pages are tissue-paper- thin. A good reference for basics when all else fails and you're frustrated by internet searches for an obscure problem or clinical approach.
