Many of these books are available for free online through your friendly medical library. All you actually need are UpToDate and Tarascon's Critical Care in your pocket.

Wow... I must be sucking or something. I'm a week away from finishing my 3rd year and I've only read two of these books. Clinical Micro Made Ridiculously Simple is outstanding. On Doctoring we got as first-years. It's excerpts from stories all of which end with morbidity and mortality. Not exactly inspirational.

Primer on Rheumatology a "must have"? Really?

I found the Gold Standard tapes pretty low yield and riddled with errors...perhaps they have updated them.

Otherwise a pretty comprehensive list except that I don't see any Surgery, Ob-Gyn, etc. books.

I'm thinking about it...I, for one, like to have lots of big books whether I use them or not.

The primer is more detail than anyone whould ever want on rheum, i agree. This is a good list for step 1 primarily.

For some reason the "yesss" in the title is really creeping me out.

What up, bud!

Yeah - I second the notion about the "yesss."

This is just one random list that one random person made... probably a few years back! There are soooo many of these lists on Amazon.com that people have made.. probably hundreds! You can't go out and buy them all just because someone recommended them.
