I will be graduating from a BScN program (nursing) in Canada with a GPA below 3.0, luckily I will not have many of the pre reqs done so I plan on boosting my sGPA and cGPA from taking such pre reqs and doing well on them.
Let's say I need to take bio, phys, orgo chem, chem, eng courses and an elective or two in order to further boost GPA
Is a DIY the best bet? I would simply pick from the above courses and add them to my schooling? I am unfamiliar with american universities so any input on this would help. Ideally I would like to be able to pick courses that I want to take and formulate my own course schedule as I will also be working as an RN in the states.
TL;DR- Can I sign up at a university and take random courses, without having to commit to a Post-bacc per say?
