Orgoman will probably disagree with me, but if you were to only get 1 I would say bootcamp...
I am probably biased though because I'm from canada and in Canada your PAT score is pretty crucial. So only buying destroyer would be like going in blind for the pat. Destroyer really covers your bases, but I feel like bootcamp teaches you more high yield questions??? It's so hard to say though and depends on your individual strengths and the particular version you get on test day....
I highly recommend you get both though! Is it a time thing, or a money thing that is preventing you from getting both?
neither will just get you a "20". you have to study on your own and make the most of the material. just turning the pages will not get you a 20, you need gauge your strengths and weaknesses and build them up. its really what you make of them. i highly recommend BOTH DAT destroyer and bootcamp. they are both entirely different but you need both.
what is the good way to use Destroyer, What I'm doing right now is, I do 20 question for each subject a day and then I look in back to check the answers and try to understand the answers, but I feel like I'm not learning that much from it
You could go through 20 questions, review, next 20 questions, review, next 20 questions, review...
Then go back to the first 20 questions, review, second 20 questions, review, third 20 questions, review...
And then repeat this for the next set of 60 questions. This is a loose version of spaced repetition (long term learning strategy). Make note of the questions you're still getting wrong (after the 2nd attempt) and review those more frequently.
This. When you say review, like look at the answers at back, and review the answer, or look up the right answer without looking at back of the book?
what?This.
I used bootcamp pretty much only in the last 2 weeks of studying. Personally, I found that Destroyer was where I did most of my learning. I only used bootcamp to simulate timed testing conditions and to gauge what I needed to focus on more. Without a doubt however, without one or the other I wouldn't have been able to do as well as I wanted.
can you plz explain how did you use the destroyer? like when you would get the question wrong , what would you do ?
thank youI would read the solution and make sure I understand it thoroughly and if I felt I needed to further refresh that topic, I would go look at my notes for Chad's Videos, google the topic, or briefly read about the topic in Cliffs Bio. Then I would just continue doing more problems.
