hi daisy99 thank you for the information. I do have some papers presented at various conf... good academics and scholarships.. toefl etc....6 months work exp in india...no exp in US though I have jus arrived in US .... i am a fresh BDS graduate.... can u tell me some info on the interview and the kind of questions faced by you?? wud be of gr8 help to all of us who are awaiting an interview... thanx in advance ...

questions were about dental background from dental school to present,splattered with general questions in between.
environment was relaxed.all applicants r always tense.so stay cool.

hi i recd a letter from bu saying that we have interviewed u but plz b patient as we have not reached to any conclusion yet and ur application is under consideration.i know its not a yes but its not a no either.just wondering if anyone else got a letter like this one.still i wonder if it had to be a yes they wud have said it right away rite.so if any of u have recd anything similar plz reply.
 
Can you tell us when u were interviewed? i too am waiting for a reply. i was interviewed on dec 6th.

wow walnut ... would they send out such letters also... r u calling them a lot cause i heard that they do not like us calling them a lot??

hi i got the same email.....i was interviewed on 18 oct.....still waiting🙂
 
gr8 to hear so ppl joinig in Boston ...... i was just wandering how many seats r still open..... this yr also they r takin 75 ......... any idea how many people they interview for these 75 seats......... i think its 200 but not sure .....

Yes, it seems that they will interview about 200 .
75 - 12 = 63 ( approx. ) , seats for year 2008 ( Twelve students from last year who had deferred the program.... Not sure though.

I had sent in my confirmation in December and called Mr. Kahan after that.He said immunization etc/forms would be sent only after/around 2 months (that would be Feb/March).Tuition would be decided in May and the invoice sent to us.What other things should we wait for apart from these?

Well, looks like we will hear from them once all interviews are over.
Till then better get all our immunizations up to date.

today after such a long wait i got the acceptance letter from BU ......

i am really thankful for the support i got from people here on sdn ..... without which it would have been almost next to impossible...

i am so happy and feel out of the world ....

hope everybody who is tryin could get in some where ....

Hi everyone,
I got my acceptance letter today. I am so happy and relieved to get into boston university. Are they any international students there. I have questions regarding financial sponsorship for I-20 purposes. How do we show that- bank balance of our relatives or a pre-approved student loan? For finances can we show the value of immovable property like a house or does it have to be just cash.Any suggestions are welcome. 🙂🙂
