hey peeps, so I called BU to ask them what the status of my app was and they said that I had been complete since OCt 3rd!!!!! but that I was still under consideration...BULL SH_T! so I asked them when should I expect something in the mail? and they said that if I don't hear anything by the beginning of March to assume the worst!!! how wack is that? damn it $100 down the drain!!! has any of you heard from BU recently?

Nope, I also called them and was given the same line, although someone else posted that they called and got an invite a few days later.
I just called again, and they said they'd "put a note in my folder" 🙄 about the date that I was going to be in town for another interview.

I wouldn't get discouraged just yet. I called BU on Jan. 28, and they told me that my application was complete, though no decision had been made yet (by the way, I was complete at the end of like AUGUST or some date ridiculously far in the past). The woman on the phone also told me that she'd bring my phone call to the attention of the admissions committee. February 2, I received an interview invitation from them.
I'd say that it's good that you called, because it shows that you're still interested, and they get so many applications that it's probably hard to weed out those who are truly interested and those who are just using the school as a backup.

I was reading the BU website last night and it said that for any applicants that have not heard from them by March 1st (since completion) should contact their admissions office.

I'm so glad I "donated" $100 to BU--for that fee they could at least let us hear something in a reasonable amount of time!
