I noticed that at the bottom of the answer explanation was mentioned: last updated-2009 for all the questions that I went through. It it really so with everyone or did Uworld decide to discriminate against me? I had heard that 2009 version was available all over the net and subscription would get you the latest update. I'm sort of appalled right now. What does YOUR Uworld say? Which version?

I was hoping that Uworld, being the no.1 software that it is said to be, would reflect the very latest changes in the exam pattern....apparently not so.

the date down there is the last time that question was updated or revised, some of the question have a 2010 date, you shouldnt be appalled, yes the exam has changed but not that much to warrant changes in all the questions in the bank, and its the same uw that folks have been praising

What are you talking about? There is no such thing as an "edition" of USMLE World. There is only ONE USMLE World Q-bank. Questions are periodically added and updated, and the date on the bottom denotes when each question has been updated. USMLE World most definitely reflect the latest changes in exam pattern, including sequential questions, heart sounds questions, and the Fred V2 interface. So I am not sure what you are complaining about.

UW is THE best thing that ever happened on usmle prep -and that does not come easy.They do a great job with it, testimony to this are all those examinees who have sworn by it.It's updated, but that does not warrant radical changes every year-

Even I'm not sure if I'm complaining. I thought I was asking for a clarification. It clearly says, in my case, Version 2009.02 so my concern is legitimate. I was hoping for someone to look into THEIR software and confirm the version to me. Anyway, I think I've extracted the answer from your various replies so thank you all.

Yeah ,mine is a 2009.02 .I am dead sure everyone else's is ditto.
