Sorry, I probably won't be able to put much input during this day cycle. I've been trying to do to a writeup about the weird Fluff wafflefest, but I've had a busy couple of days with classes and preparing for my last vet school interview that's tomorrow morning. I'll probably end up looking at other people's ISOs/writeups for today. Just letting you all know why I'm doing that ahead of time, since I usually think it's pretty wolfy when people don't try to come to their own conclusions.

D4 will be different though! I really want to finish that writeup since I'm almost certain that it will help narrow down some suspects (if I'm still alive ofc).

For now, unyeet Alley, yeet Vis. Still have concerns about them not participating in the 3-way villager tie from D2.

I haven’t been impressed with YK’s contributions. I looked through her posts yesterday, wasn’t feeling anything that made me village. One mediocre reads list, a lot of defensiveness and not a lot of apparent wolf hunting. Flipping her would also resolve vissy for everyone else who I think is village.

I agree with the Vis vote. I think there's likely a wolf there. I usually expect to see more thoughtful game solving from village vis. If it gets close enough to need it push it over the edge I'll move but I want to see what happens if things are a little closer with some other players.

So so happy Vis was a wolf and honestly reading that rojo/fauxjo way after the fact was very entertaining, I probably would've been stressed/confused if I was present when it happened. (Dana flashbacks)

I will share my revised POE Tuesday night hopefully. From a glance, I think Stoat and Lawpy (aside from the weird rojo- still need to evaluate) gained some village points for me. April I'm questioning not being as deep in my POE. Meaty and Mel are very deep in the POE. And I'm questioning Fluff, Alley, & Samac a bit more now (all of them got a little bit closer to my POE, but not my main focus right now). PSV is the only person I have consistently read village this game.

Anyways, I need to go to bed. My dogs will not be happy if I sleep in and have less time to walk them before class. Good work, y'all!!

I think I’m going to stick with my gut on this. People on my wolfy side of things include Sporty, Vis, Violet (really trying to figure her out), possibly Ivy after those ISO's by April, and a couple other folks who I won't list because I'm not prepared to defend my opinion on them. DocOc is actually less in my wolf books now, as I'll explain below.

So, I've been stewing on Octo, and I actually came up with a theory that explains his behavior pretty well: he was really hyped up to be a wolf, but got a vanillager role and it took a lot of the wind out of his sails. Then, while still feeling a bit put-out, the thread took off and he's been struggling to get up the motivation to keep up.

Seriously. If someone hyped for the game got to be a wolf in their first proper game, I just have a really hard time seeing them be so absent and checked out.

If I remember right, Ivy wasn't super active in the noob game at the beginning. I think they were more active later on though (or maybe just seemed to be since lots of people were dead). I voted Ivy like 3 times because of that last game and turned out they were village, so I'm giving her the benefit of the doubt for now.

I truly hate voting when I’m not fully informed. I’ve barely read half the thread at this point. I’m feeling better about fluff and true, kind of bothered about youngkal’s handling of the moose pressure vote and zuriburi’s reasoning for voting me feeling like they’re misrepresenting the situation. Both small pings but I’m pretty lost and behind. And overall I have felt better about zuriburi.

Alleycat03 - I had her as village from a tone read really on and I still feel like this is probably village Alley but she’s at the bottom of my village. I haven’t seen a lot the last couple cycles that make me super confident in her being a villager but nothing to make me do a 180 and change my read.

I figured, but still don't really know what to think of why you never actually put your vote down on your supposed wolfiest read

I used my vote for strategic reasons like I stated, and if I had moved it at any point the argument would just be that I bussed vis, so it seems like regardless of the choice I made, vote vis or not, there isn’t an argument that can’t be twisted against me to fit the narrative, so I’m sort of in a damned if I do damned if I don’t situation with this.

Either I didn’t vote vis because we’re partners or I would have and we were bussing.

Vis was never the “most wolfy” of my reads btw.

I’m willing to reevaluate Alley, but I felt like she came out of the gate swinging village on D1.

Alley aside the vote movement in general, around Fluff really freaked me out. It felt like once there was a chance of it taking off people got opportunistic.

I’m still not ready to village read Fluff, but I’d be uneasy about voting there again given how readily some people seemed to jump on out of nowhere.

Why though? I get why Ivy was suspicious, I agree with that. I’ve struggled with Fluff this game, so I agree with that part of Alley’s post too.

I was pretty neutral on Violet but the role reveal seemed believable enough and the frustration read as genuine to me.

Brought up the angleshooting AGAIN and lightly mentions that supposedly she is vanilla. Doesn’t make sense to me because she’s experienced enough at this point to know there’s no benefit to role revealing or telling the thread whether or not you have a PR, but claiming you’re vanilla will make sure the wolves don’t target you.


Seems to backtrack and preemptively apologize. Stood out to me like she was trying to poke someone and sprinkle sus, but then backtrack her thoughts.


Trying too hard to explain herself and unyeet her joking vote. I do hope she’s feeling okay and recovering from Covid though!

This stood out to me actually for a different reason. It felt like Fluff was trying to fish a little bit and get a soft confirmation about the existence of a PR in Stoat’s slot or lack there of. Like wolf chat was like “we need to try and figure out who has a PR so we can prioritize NKs” and this read like a clumsy attempt to fish for that.

Sorry Fluff 🙁 I just made a confused face last night when you unyeeted Vis. All Vis did was reveal that they were the blocker and you immediately unyeeted them. I think Violet gave village a lot more to work with when we decided to unyeet (by saying she was a strike), I didn't have the same feeling when Vis said they blocked people. I just thought it was weird how quickly you unyeeted.
If it makes you feel better, I feel like most people are neutral or in my POE than not lol

How is this not village code? You’re using the setup, mechanics, and assumptions about mod decisions for game design. You’re literally trying to use ability/role formatting to figure out affiliation. You are using a fallacy to justify a wolf!read of me, this is an indication you’re tunneling.

How does protecting someone from vote establish village cred? If I was protecting from a NK, then I can see using it for village cred. I picked YK for shiggles with 0 strategy behind it.

If I was a wolf that knew YK had vote protection, you’d expect myself or another wolf to pressure YK on the day that she had the protection. If she had been voted, this would have wasted a vote cycle, made YK look sketchy, and set up a misvote the next day. Notice that’s not what happened. I saw YK role reveal, but not admit to the protection D2 and I drove a vote on her D3 because that kind of half-truth plays are sketchy as hell.
