BP elevation dependent on Intermolecular forces?

So I always thought that BP depends on 1. IMF 2. molecular mass. But BP elevation is a colligative property so it should only depend on number of dissolved particles in solution. So when we have 2 molecules given and asked to compare Boiling point how do I figure it out?
 
You may be getting your concepts a little jumbled friend. Boiling point, plain old boiling point, is a physical property, and does depend on IMF and other factors. Boiling point elevation -- and freezing point depression -- are different, and there are good explanations out there for you to review. But when you say "we have 2 molecules given and asked to compare Boiling point," I don't think that anything to do with solutions with boiling points that are higher than pure liquids. To answer your question though, when comparing *molecules* just use your normal understanding of boiling point. Boiling point elevation is for solutions, not molecules. FYI make your caption easier to understand and you will get more responses; many people will be thinking BP is blood pressure, another topic of interest on here. Good luck!
