BPA in CVS, Walmart, Safeway receipts?

I came across this old article from 2010, does anyone know if they ever removed the BPA or are we retail workers slowly killing ourselves even more? Would touching a blank part of the receipt rather than the ink help at all?

I'd be more concerned about all the radiation in our food from Fukushima, then I would about BPA in register receipts.
