CGP is now BCGP. The last of the old exams are being done this Fall (too late to sign up). After they do their "job analysis" for 2017, BPS will be generating their own exams, first ones to be available in Spring 2018 I believe.

I might sign up for it, but I'm also curious about the pass rate on an exam that's fresh and new, and probably fighting to establish legitimacy (lower pass rate) compared to how it was perceived before.

This was announced about a year ago. I doubt it will really change much. I think BPS is just trying to monopolize credentialing, not change anything.
