Anyone else a little frustrated with this book. I've just finished the first section and was taking the practice passages... some of the passages have to do with material that wasn't covered in that section. Has it happened to anyone else? ...or is my gen chem just weak?

Yes. I did the same today. I'm feeling bummed! Thought this would be one of my easier sections.

Yeah man.. I mean I'm taking the test on Aug 17th but I'm really stressed right now. I'm doing horrible on the passages and I feel myself getting paranoid and taking like twice as long to review them but not sure if that's really helping.

Did this happen to everyone in the beginning of the schedule? I'm having a hard time keeping up with SN2ed's schedule too.

EDIT: Im having a hard time keeping up with 7 minute per passage as well. Im around ~9 minute range and still getting like 3-4 wrong each passage. Should I be doing something extra or will everything fall into place as I move along the schedule?

I made a thread for the Aug 17th MCAT earlier. You should join so we can all stress together 👍

And I'm totally wondering the same thing. I'm really hoping it all falls together. I'm only on day two and I'm already doubting myself

Hey there guys! I'm officially on month three of Sn2's guide, and I can start off by saying that yes, I initially had a ton of difficulty with the practice problems located at the end of each chapter. Now, I get less than two wrong per passage (with the occasional passage of 3 wrong). It does get better, you just have to stick to it. On the more difficult topics I've used BR but also incorporated other resources as well (mcat-review.com, older textbooks, google)

Thanks for the reply guys! The reassurance definitely helps to boost my confidence. Just going to stick through it and grind it out....
