So in gem chem and ochem passages, i'm getting 1 wrong per passages avg.
On physics and bio it's even worse, getting like 1.5-2 wrongs per passage I think.

and apparently you can't miss many in real MCAT for high scores like 14+ right?

people say it's hard and getting 80% right could be enough for 13+ but I can't really buy that.. as of now i'm getting about 85% and mcat's coming soon and I'm shooting for the stars.

any opinions?

Analyze your mistakes. Telling you I'm doing about the same(which I am lol) makes you feel better but it's not going to increase your score. I'm not trying to be mean but just do heavy post game analysis, and try to eliminate careless errors.

And when you take actual AAMCs, act like it's the real thing. I'm planning on wearing earplugs and everything.

Good luck!

its practice. lots of people say that if you if you get 60-80% right that you are at least guaranteed a 10, and very likely can pull off a 12. also, some TBR questions are somewhat unrealistic (too detailed, but still good practice). i wouldn't worry too much.

TBR kicked my a s s all over the MCAT playing field.

I thank them oh so much for that though. Because I was prepared for the obscenity of my actual MCAT.

I was scoring HORRIBLY. Some of those chem questions are INSANE. And I am a chem whiz. The logic behind them would take forever to reason out on a standardized test.

+50. I was checking my phase changes passages yesterday and I literally reread an explanation 5 times and gave up.

Edit: I'm not a chem whiz though =P

That makes me feel infinitely better, considering how you scored on the actual thing! 90% of the time when I'm slogging my way through TBR, I feel like I'm conditioning myself so when I get to some difficult passage, it'll just be another walk in the (TBR) park.

Where a lot of other people will be like, "What is this?!" and start to despair, it'll just be another day doing passages for me. And I might not get them all right, but I'll definitely do better since I'll have gone through the madness that is TBR!

And for me..I finished the first chapters in each TBR book two days ago. From what I've seen..it's going to be a loooooooong summer!
