Braunwald for the Kindle or Nook

I was thinking of getting a copy of Braunwald and was wondering if anyone has tried either the Kindle or Nook editions? Are they user-friendly and easy on the eyes? They're quite a bit cheaper than the print editions, but if they're a pain to use I'll go with the paper edition. By the way, I'm not referring to the online edition that is also available.

I have the text in kindle eBook and find it not very reader friendly, the best is to see if you can get the PDF version. At my hospital, there is web access to the PDF for each chapter that can be downloaded and this looks much better with any basic app on the iPad.
