question: how important is breadth of classes in applying to med school?

the context: I'm thinking of dropping a history class that I'm taking (that won't show up on my external transcript, btw) in order to have time to focus on my thesis and maybe have service work. But then my coursework for this semester becomes a bit unidemensional (2 public health, 1 bio, and 1 english). any suggestions?

this is especially for you guys who have been through the AMCAS process (yeah...the one i'm gonna start in the spring. 🙂)
thanks everyone.

Don't worry. In the grand scheme of things nobody will care.

Well, one semester doesnt make or break a good variety of courses. But if youve taken all science/health courses, your interviewer will probably ask why.
