Couldn't this be considered "calling out"? I mean the intent is clearly not genuine here and is demeaning to someone who earned the respect that should go along with an acceptance. At the very least, it should not be ridiculed.

Now, you see? This is one reason why it is generally not permitted to start threads referring to/calling out another member. I've been rather lax about it recently, but I usually close them down; that's the precedent. I've been letting it happen because I figured it couldn't hurt... However, I'm going to start closing them down again like I am supposed to.
