Brief Shadowing Experience-- update?

Over the Christmas holiday, my father had surgery, and I asked his hospitalist (an internal medicine doc who works soley at the hospital) if I could follow him on rounds. The guy was really nice, and he spent half the work day taking me around to see patients and explaining each case to me. I've never shadowed anyone before. It was a great experience, but it wasn't an ongoing thing, so I'm not sure if I should report it. What do you guys think? Should I include this one-time shadowing in my update letter?

I did something similar and I included it in some of my secondaries! It is also something nice to mention at interviews.
