I reported my failed COMLEX II and my intended retake date on my ERAS application...Do you think I should bring up my failed step 2 during my IM residency interview?

I don't want to appear as though I'm hiding anything by not talking about the huge elephant in the room (at least to me). However, if it isn't brought up I would prefer not to talk about it. What are your thoughts on this? Thanks in advance for any helpful advice.

Yes, you should prepare to discuss your strategy for dealing with these exams. Be humble, and not defensive when answering. You can discuss why you think you failed, but don't make excuses.
