Bringing thesis, publications, etc. to the interview?

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
From what ive heard, its standard to bring a brief case or notebook to the interview. has anyone every asked any of you guys if they could see your thesis/pubs? im thinking maybe ill bring it jsut incase, but not pull it out unless they ask

Crap I was gonna go empty handed...(really...cuz I have not thought of that part yet). Good thinking.

yea, don't. You may be proud of your thesis, but the bottomline is, they don't care. They care that you've done one, but they don't care about its contents. The interview's to get to know you, not to read like ...a thousand page paper.

it can hurt to have it on you...but i think if research comes up you should be able to talk about it in detail off the top of your head
