Has anyone looked at their secondary app. essay? Describe how you plan to become an exceptional physician embodying excellence in at least one of these area a) med leadership and excellence, academic accomplishment, research experience and productivity and community service. Can we give pass experiences should you say what you are planning to do in med school?

both. weave in your past experiences to show that you have what it takes to be successful in this area or that area, and then say that you plan to further develop these skills, interests, and passion by engaging in this or that at Brown.
at least that's what i would think. you should definitely talk about why you believe you will succeed, and then what you will do at Brown to ensure that.

I focused mostly on the future and used my past decade of leadership in various areas as a backdrop. BTW, I'm non-trad with an extensive work history, so this approach may not work for everyone.
