Hi

My wife got a new job at Providence and
I was wondering how difficult it is to transfer to Brown as
an incoming fourth year. If anyone here goes to Brown and
knows of such case, would you please share with me?

call the school and explain the situation, then see what they say. from what i understand of transfer admissions, it often takes "special" circumstances, such as a relocating due to a spouse's new job, to demonstrate there really is a significant reason to admit you - especially as a fourth year.

I don't see much reason to transfer as a 4th year. At most schools you can do a lot of 4th year away in RI anyway.

Are we talking undergrad or medical school. Undergrad - probably impossible, most schools require attending for at least 2 years to be granted a diploma. Medical school - def impossible. No one wants a student to attend for only 1 year during which time they are doing mostly elective rotations.

If you are entering MSIV then just try to do as many elective rotations as you can as away rotations in and around RI.
