BU Acceptance Thread

wow. i interviewed first week of feb...and still nothing.

i guess its safe to say that i am prob done.. i dont think anyone has been accepted after such a long idle. 🙁

i want nothing more than to go there and they said to wait 4 to 6 weeks, and it has a[pproached the final week.

should i call again and ask them, "hey, uh, wassup?" but it sucks cuz they wont tell you anything on the phone. 😱 🙁 :scared: 😕 :laugh:
 
ive called..and they would say that they cant tell me my status and to just wait 4-6 weeks...

anything else i can say..??:idea:

Maybe you can ask them if a decision was made regarding your app? I did that and they told me a decision was made and I had to wait for the response by mail. But knowing that little bit of info made me feel a little better and made the wait a little more bearable.

I interviewed on March 2nd, got the acceptance letter on March 28th! so it took about a month!

If you call, can you please post what they told you, I too am curious if anyone else got in, has any waitlistee been offerred a spot etc.

I was told mine was coming like 2 weeks after my interview, so I was obsessively checking the mailbox every day haha...so, needless to say after a while, I finally gave up and pretty much assumed I wouldn't be getting in. I got my letter over a month later, but I think it got delayed in the mail because the first payment was due the day before I got it hahaha. So, have hope, maybe you're just having mail trouble like I did!:luck:

i called the other day and was told that they are pretty much full...i tried to ask if there was a deadline but was told to just keep checking aadsas. I just wish i could get some sort of response. i really want them!

All this waiting is horrible, I hate it!!!!! :scared: :scared: But I guess there isn't much we can do.

Did they actually say they were 'pretty much full' or are you inferring because i called last week and they say they can't release that kind of info. I was also told to keep checking aadsas. 🙁
 
Yea I called today and they said just keep checking aadsas and the mail and I should hear "shortly". I also asked if they were full and she said "almost, but not quite"...so there's still hope for everyone.

I heard by mail the 6th week after my interview. The 2 week thing is very general. It can take longer. So hang in there !!! GL!:luck:
 
Got the aadsas update today...waitlist for me. So...who's not going then? 🙂
 
i just got waitlisted too.

how long is this list???

they probably wont even tell us our ranking on the list right?
 
waitlist for me too, anyone have any idea how many they generally put on the waitlist?

Hey to all who are on a waitlist or haven't received news. Don't go crazy worrying because it something that will or won't happen. The good news is that BU takes students up to the day before classes begin (High tuition causes students to wait until the last minute for the cheaper alternative)..if you don't believe me there are 2 students in my 2009 class that were days before class started...so don't fret. If you haven't heard anything in awhile then give them a call but if you called last week then just have some patience.

I recently received my aadsas status update informing me of my offer (2/22/08). I was wondering, for those of you who've already received your packets, does it specify how long you have to make a decision given how late it is in the process?
