From what i have noticed in the group .. interviews invites are generally sent on tuesdays and the interviews are held on thursdays ... correct me if i am wrong .. i dont know whether emails are sent later in the day or in the morning ..
 
@Rere2016 would you mind sharing your status??

I received mine at 4:30 pm on the eastern time zone

Toefl 107
Gpa 2.9
5 years experience in USA as dent assistant
5 years volunteer in research programs
Lots of community work
And this is my first year applying
 
Hello Everyone,
Congratulations to those who got accepted, best of luck to those who got interviews and those who are still waiting for interview like me.
Can anyone (Rare2016) please tell me if I have any chance to get an IV,
my stats are: nbde part 1 and 2, gpa 3.9, TOEFL 94 🙁 , two gold medals in convocation, right now working as surgical assistant in California(paid)
lots of volunteer work back home......
I just did California x ray license and got my license should I update on my application, does it strengthen my application?

please respond, got 3 rejections and really heartbroken🙁
hoping for Boston IV

Hey, I applied in june, no I didn't receive any under review email, just got one email that my application is complete and they will review it soon
 
How many groups has BU invited till now 4 or 5 groups??
 
After how long you expect interview email, once u receive under review email?? I know some of the people got the same day ... is it same day for everybody or varies ?

when did you get under review email?

I heard some people saying they got IV 3 days after

I think you should Waite untitl Tuesday because They usually send the interview invetation on Tuesday

I think at least one or two group there are many seats left to be filled and of course they must make a waiting list in case someone dropped at the last moment
Last year I heard someone got accepted one week before they begin the school because someone couldn't get a loan in time
But I don't think they will send any invetation now because i heard they started their holidays vecation and they will be back on the 5th of January
 
Hey all does anybody knows how many people BU has invited so far ? And how many people got accepted??
 
I got the under review email Sunday (yesterday) 7:00 pm. Anybody got any emails like mine? This means do we still got a chance for interview?

Guys who got Under Review can you share your statuses generally please ?
 
i just passed my part 1, is it even worth applying since the deadline is jan 1st, which is next week?!

Always apply if you have the minimum requirements that they ask for, it is not just the board 1 but your overall application.

They say if you apply by sep. you hold high chances of call.

Guys I got a mail today telling me that my application is being evaluated..does everyone get this email or is there a chance for me to get an interview..
 
Unfortunately, Everyone who applied, gets this email.

hey all, I got an under-review email today, is there any chance of getting an interview
 
I called BU and they are on holiday vecation till 5th of January so I don't think that they will send any invetation now
 
so everyone who gets an "under-review email" won't essentially get an interview invite?

This is exactly right. Most people will NOT get an interview, although ALL people will get an "Under review" email.
 
thats not correct last year i applied to bu n i didnt get any under review mail

I would take Toefl again . Bu won't give interviews to those who dobt have the minimum 100( at least I don't know any one).

My profile :
Gpa : 3.00
Toefl: 111
2 years of US experience
2 years of research experience .
In regards to remaining spots : there are 47 people accepted , so 28 left.

Interview : very cool , I have been to 3 other schools , and bu was the most relaxed one !
15 minutes casual conversation . Every one was kind and awesome !
They mostly ask about what is the most prominent thing in your application . If you are a a specialist , may be they ask about that .if you have done a lot of volountear work , they ask about them specificly .

Congratulations!! Can you please share when did you interview?
 
anyone received interview e-mail after December 15 ??? Interviews are usually sent on tuesdays so somebody should get it
 
Today was the first day after the holidays so I don't think they sent any emails
Waite until next week
