Bu construction project

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
Construction will throw lot of changes, but you will be DMD 3 by the time construction finish, which would be nice, because you will start in new clinic.

What's your reasoning behind this?
According to people I know to BU, they say tufts has a better clinical pre-doc and BU has better residency programs. Just rumors, but seems to have some validity since tufts and BU do intermingle.

Any word on which school would be better to attempt to specialize from? I figured having a smaller class size (BU) would allow for better Letters of Recommendation and potentially less competition. However I’m not entirely sure on that, just speculation.

Those rumors are not true. I heard many different things between both schools, both do good job with pre doc education. Im not here to discuss which school is better over the other. When you end up going to your own d school, you will find yourself and others all complain and its part of normal d student life. As for residency, I think its mixed reviews. Both schools have stronger and weaker specialties.

Big or small class size, the best way to get a good letter is to get to know your letter writer. Usually people very involved with student leadership get to know the docs pretty well. But you don't need to do that if you just take initiative and get to know them.

Hey I had a quick question for you. Are any of your friends aiming for Endo residencies?
