don't worry you are not the only one who is desperately waiting for BU. as soon as i hear the interview news from BU, I refresh my email webpage thousands of times... but you know.. nothing happens.

so i will just wait for another d*** week.

Aadsas was mailed out July 4th

I took my DAT July 31st so my app was probably complete a couple weeks after that...

Got the invite via email!

Printout mailed June 30th. I retook the DAT august 21st and I think the schools got the scores last week.

What's your stats dental2012? There's a bit of a disparity between both of our scores 😳

I got an email saying my application was complete on August 14th. I think this is the first email they sent me.

i just got an invite for interview from BU this morning too. for Dec 1st.

I am wondering, do they give out interviews based on how strong you are a candidate, whether they feel you would attend, or only by submission date?

oh and congrats to those who have gotten interviews, it's a big step forward

Hey guys. BU November 7th for me!! Sooo excited. I found out by email this past wednesday, and had to call to make the date. For you guys wondering of a timeline, I submitted AADSAS June 18th, and took the DAT July 29th. This is my first interview. Really really excited!🙂

My original invite didn't have a specified date, so I emailed and called, but couldn't get anyone that day. I just called again today, and talked to them on the phone to confirm.

I think they're inviting out of state applicants later after dec. 1 because they are assuming BU isn't 1st choice for a lot of people. It would make sense, if a dec. interviewee gets accepted to his/her first choice, then that person probably cancels the BU interview. BU had trouble filling their class until late June because a lot of people deposit and then go somewhere else later.

No, that isn't true. I'm out of state and was invited for an interview Sept. 25th. It all must be on how early your application was completed/submitted.

No, that isn't true. I'm out of state and was invited for an interview Sept. 25th. It all must be on how early your application was completed/submitted.

Nov. 3rd for me and I'm from Iowa

congrats ninster! I see you are canadian too. I guess they started inviting canadians too. I didnt get an invite yet, my GPA is 3.55, AA 18!! TS 19
so i am taking the us dat in october. I know of people with lower than 19AA, with 18 AA get invites so I am praying that I get one too.
I am from Ontario, which uni did you go to? I have a couple of friends at BU currently, lemme know if you need any help. good luck and pray that I get an invite too, I would love to go to BU.

I'm from california and got my interview for sept. so I don't know when they actually first started but I'm quite out of state and got a somewhatearly interview. I really think it's just rumors about interviewing from certain states first. It's all about sending in your DAT scores and AADSAS application early (as well as the fee)... That's how I think it works. I had everything in by May 28

Hey dental2012, I'm from U of T, where are you at? I think you didn't get one b/c your DAT is in oct - are you writing the Canadian DAT or the American? I was planning on doing the Canadian as well (did American in Aug) but decided against it due to crazy workload. Yeah any help would be greatly appreciated, I hardly know any dental students 🙁
