BU interview really goes til 3PM?

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
jusssst wondering from you folks who've done it already... I can't imagine it really being 5.5 hours.

I had an interview last cycle and the whole interview day lasted until 3PM. It may seem long but I thought it was very organized and comforting except for the financial aid session, which I thought was rather unhelpful. Laura will probably be the first person you meet and she will flat out tell you the interview is suppose to be relaxing and rather "conversational" to see what kind of person you are. You'll also meet Dr. Stoute who is the chairman of something and go through the slides about the school very quickly, but spend majority of the time with Q&A and his background. The admissions committee and students seemed to get along very well and were very friendly. Be prepared for a little walk during the tour because you'll tour the building and SLC building which is across the street.

Good luck and enjoy your interview.

I called to make sure (my flight is at 5:25PM), and they said expect to be released around 3-3:15PM... hope I don't cut it too close! :xf:

don't worry BU is 10min away from the airport

Sounds like a school that really takes the effort to know the candidates.

What time do the BU interview day start? from 5.5 hours and ending at three im guessing 9:30?

I think all 4 interviews I've been to have been at least 5 hours. Midwestern went 7:45 to 2:30, that's almost 7 hours.
