I just got Boston U's secondary and it says the LOR's must come from faculty in Biology, Physics, or Chemistry.

Does anyone know how strict they are on this requirement? I have letters from math profs - would this be ok?

Thanks

Blinx,

I only gave them LORs from two engineering profs and a non-sci prof. I received an interview invitation. So I would say that the LOR requirement is not that strict.

Good luck,

My advisor told me that as long as those letters are somewhere in the ball park of what they are asking you'll should be fine. So if they are asking for science faculty it probably wouldn't be a good idea to send in a letter from your drama prof and baseball coach.

I think you should be fine using a letter from a math prof.

Good luck.

I used an epidemiology prof, my PI (MD, professor of medicine), a psych prof, and an EC person. They were just fine with it, though I'm still waiting for an interview.

Alright cool - thanks guys.
