School 1: UMN

OOS
Pros:
  • COA is 520k
  • Large City
  • Cold (idc)
I want to specialize not sure how good the school is (i need insight on this)
Cons:
  • A bit old
  • Graded
School 2: Boston University
OOS
Pros:
  • COA is 520k (with what they are giving me)
  • Large City
  • Cold (idc)
I want to specialize, not sure how good the school is (I need insight on this)
Cons:
  • Graded
Summary: I don't have any attachment to either city; I'm from LA, so both seem relatively far. Their CoA, based on what I've been offered, is very similar, so it's not a factor. I want to become a great general dentist, but I want to go to the school that gives me a better shot at specializing as well. I've seen the "you can specialize from any school," but I was wondering if any of them make a big difference in that, as some other schools have a high match rate to top residencies.
