Is applying to BU a total waste of money? It seems that it's actually one of the hardest schools to get into because so many people apply there.
Does anyone have any thoughts on this school?

I don't know much about the school, but yeah, I'm torn about applying to it as well - $100 is a huge secondary fee! and if they get 20,000 applicants, that's a cool 2 million right there... Gosh, maybe i should open a med school 😀

Not worth applying. They're so disorganized over there I got a letter this past cycle saying they didn't want to offer me an interview just 4 weeks after I HAD interviewed with them for the MD/PhD program. Completely worthless.

In my mind, BU is NOT worth applying to! They dont even have a real secondary (therefore, no chance to show them who you are as a person), they just ask for $100 and 2 weeks later, you get a rejection letter! I know a lot of people that sent in the money (myself included) and not one person who got an interview! I'm sure some people have had a different experience with BU, I'm just giving my 2 cents! 🙂 By the way, I ended up wtih 11 interviews, mostly at the east coast schools and I dont know what exactly BU was looking for in terms of credentials!!
