i think BU takes forever, just like tufts, look at last years predents data to see what they did and when they did it.

I think they pin everyone's application to a wall and then throw darts to decide whose they should look at next. They're all over the place - people without "wow" stats have gotten interviews a day after submitting the secondary while the wowsers are still waiting. Confusing. Note: I am FAR from a wowser.

EDIT: I didn't think I had to clarify, but apparently I do: I don't really think this is how their application review process works. I know that they have some rhyme and reason to how they do things, it's just some crazy algorithm we'll never understand. Nothing wrong with that. It keeps us guessing, not unlike an M Night Shyamalan film back when he made decent movies.

My mailout date was 8/19, submitted my secondary August 31st, got an interview September 1st. I definitely do not have the "wow" stats...guess I was lucky 😀

Being from Massachusetts and UMass/Amherst might have helped you. I know they're private but they do seem to have more of a biased towards Mass. compared to other states.

i'm international, avg stats and i received an invite 3 days after i submitted secondary (aug15). Also, i didn't have all my refs in either :/ applying to schools is such a crapshoot

What in the world? I submitted my secondary like two weeks ago and no call yet. Whats wrong with BU?

Same here. My stats are above their average, especially GPA, and I submitted the secondary a few weeks ago, but I haven't heard a peep.

I submitted the AADSAS on July 29, got the supplemental on August 30, and that's where I'm at right now!

submitted my supplemental this morning. i have a feeling that i won't be hearing from them in a while 🙁
