Do you guys know if Buffalo is done with all interviews yet? And also, does anyone know how much of the class is filled?

i called a week or so ago and they said they were pretty much done with interview invites....very small chance they will grant more...you should call admissions and ask

Yeah, I'll probably call and ask. I'm on the alternate list and hope they are done with interviews and start calling people off the alternate list.

the letter says not to expect any news until may/april. I'm guessing that's when their second deposit is due but perhaps they will call others off the list before that time. Anyone know of such instances from past cycles?

April is when the deposit becomes no longer refundable. There is generally a lot of movement around that time and there will be a lot of decisions made by the adcom. As far as I know, the school is done interviewing.

i think it depends on the school but big ones like bu, usc and nyu might be but it could be for waitlist. Call and check with the schools to get the best info otherwise just track threads on here on the schools you’re still waiting from. I agree with Regmata about buffalo though, I think they’re done interviewing since they’re well into their alternate list. I think if there are any interviews left they’re probably for waitlists unfortunately because so many schools are full or close to it.

And, the best they could offer anyone that showed up to the interview was a seat on the waitlist 🙁

March 1 was the refund deadline. To my knowledge there is no second deposit. Deposits become transparent May 1, so I would imagine there will be a lot of movement through May since Buffalo has such a cheap deposit.

BU is still interviewing up until March 31st. I don't know if these are for waiting list spots or for spots in the class.
