Nice! But my question is still not answered lol

in my profile on predents

😱 how does a 21 and 3.9 gpa get continuing review? do you feel its because you are out of state and they dont want to holding a seat at their school that you might not take?

Maybe. Might also be because they're looking for more than 40 hours of shadowing. I'm kind of freaking out because I've only received 1 interview out of the 12 schools I applied to, didn't even submit that late (7/22 mailout), and it's from Nova which has a very large interview pool :O

good luck man! your stats are golden! hopefully they wont hold the 40hrs against you, just tell them that was the best you could do while maintaining a super fly gpa 🙂

Thanks! Hope you owned your first interview and gl on the 2nd one 🙂

Don't worry, you don't want to live in Buffalo anyway. It's a deadbeat city, cold as a mofo and you're stuck watching the Bills and Sabers play lol. Probably a blessing to get rejected from this school.

lol no way! 200k in debt is much better than 400K (for most schools) LOL

Yeah, watching a 3-1 NFL team and an NHL team that very likely will get a cup in the next few years is sooo boring 😀 Buffalo's got a lot to offer. Besides we're in school all the time here and have very little time to get out and do much so it wouldn't matter if the school was in NYC or Siberia. The bang for your buck outweighs all the downsides of Buffalo IMHO.

I'll be blunt, they do give some state preference because they are a state school. They even said so during the presentation. So the stats required for an interview are probably a lot higher than the instaters... or whatever the OOS applicant stats are.

To my surprise, I actually liked the school contrary to my initial pre-interview impression.
