So another poster said that the last batch of acceptances' deadline to respond is TODAY!!

Please post if you're on the waitlist... and if you're lucky to get off of it in the next couple of days/weeks/months!

Gluck 👍

I may have posted that about the 28th. That is when the school wanted your response back by. Hopefully some seats will open up for you guys. Keep on keeping on!

Does anyone know generally, how much movement there is on the wait list? And also how large each tier is?

Apparently some years they take a lot off the waitlist and some years they have not taken any. However, Dr. Brown said he is like 99% sure that they will definitely be taking off from the waitlist this year..

Got a voicemail from Barbara!!! By the time I called back the office was closed.. Closed till Monday 8:30am.. , app anxious!

Yeah, pretty sure that calls will start soon. They never say how many are on the list, but you do have to figure it is not that longs, since there is only around 90 seats. Ie: it would be silly to have 300 alternates on a list. There is no way to know where exactly you are on the list, just have to hope you are high up and that you get the call. If you guys have any other questions let me know as I have been put on UBs waitlist for the last two cycles.

Congrads....see you in August...Don't forget to join the FB group.

Glad to see some movement, that is unlike past years I have seen (and been a part of) so that is good news for all alternates.

does anyone know if they accept a person off the top of the wait-list once a spot opens up or do they regulate the amount of acceptances by waiting and accepting one to two people per a week?

It is in the schools best interest to fill their classes up with students as soon as possible. So in my opinion, as soon as a spot opens up they are going to contact the next alternate on the list to try and fill that spot.
Also, in that regard it is important to allow students to know if they are accepted because of financial aid applications and such. The sooner the better is in both parties interest.
