Hi,
This is my first post. Hope I am posing in the right place!

Can you help me in this MCQ please?
screenshot_94.png

I calculated the Parkland formula and it turned to be 6,400 ml in first 8 hours and 6,400 ml in next 16 hours.
So it is either A, D or E?

This question always come up in our surgery final exams!

Thanks!!

It should be A, Lactated Ringers in preferred in large volume cyrstolloid fluid resuscitation due to the propensity for to NS cause hyperchloremic acidosis when administered in large volumes.
