I was just wondering if anyone knew the percentage Boston U accepts out of their interviewees. Also, does anyone know their class size? Any other incite on BU is welcomed.

I think that their class size is fairly large, like over a hundred. They say they send acceptance letters to about half, but I've seen different numbers on this site. When did you interview with them?

Im scheduled for february 27th at the moment, but i talked to them today and am looking to move my interview forward to january 31. Im hopin the extra 4 weeks may give me some advantage over those who are interviewed later.

The earlier the better. I also got a really good feel from the interviewer that I would probably be accepted (I was). They were extremely nice to me and I really don't have anything bad to say about the school except for the price. Just make sure to be really relaxed and sell yourself. A lot of the kids who interview there are very one dimensional, they're pretty much going in order to make tons of money by taking over a parent's practice. If you sell yourself by making clear that you're flexible as far as your future (i.e. research, teaching as a faculty member, specializing) and tell them that you aren't ready to be pigeonholed they will definately respect you more.

Well from what we were told back in October, they usually interview around 500 but this year they were anticipating more apps than usual like around 3,000 so they might interview a little more. Out of those they will probably send around 250-300 acceptances depending on how many accept the offers in the first round and so on. The class size is 115 students. Good luck.

250-300 for 115 spots??? I think they're taking a big risk by sending out that many acceptances. Unless they think most pre-dents will turn them down for some reason?
