hello

not sure if this is the right forum, but I would like to ask this question:

I am currently at the last part of my medical degree education and recently hired in a pharmaceutical company as a drug rep

what should my business card mention about my education status?

Jim Bolt MD Undergrad
or
Jim Bolt Undergrad MD
or what?

thanks

If you have not graduated then you do not have an MD, and it would be a lie to list it.

If you are an Undergrad Medical Student, then you are not an "Undergrad Doctor of Medicine."

I would not list "MD" alone

I have seen people NOT having an PhD, but they list themselves as "PhD Cand" (candidates), so I assume a medical student in his last period of basic training can list something similar

anyway, your suggestion is "Undergrad Medical Student" ? I think Undergrad is needless if "Student" is mentioned

and business card title must be brief, is Med Stud more appropriate?

No, I was not suggesting Undergraduate Medical Student. That is a confusing term that only doctors/residents/medical students use.

Medical Student is fine. 'Med Stud' may be confusing. MD Candidate is what I would put.
