i'll be taking biology in the fall and the textbook required for the class is campbell and reece biology

right now there are 9 editions of the textbook, the 9th edition being the latest. but the 10th edition is being released Oct 31, 2013, just 2 months after class begins.

should i just buy the 9th edition, or wait for the 10th edition to come out? god this sucks. i bet they choose the most inconvenient release date on purpose

The difference between the 9th and 10th edition is, more likely than not, very minimal. Whatever edition you do decide on, I would recommend going for the international edition, which is way cheaper.

There are...um...places...on the internet...where you can get the e-book for free (if you don't need a hard copy). You just gotta look hard enough. 😎

The place I'm looking at has both the 8th and 9th editions.
