by which month should we give nbde1 in order to be eligible for the early 2009 session.

I am not entirely sure what you are talking about, but I just wanted to clarify that you TAKE the national boards and not GIVE them. That is unless you are the working at the testing center setting up the exam. Good luck TAKING the exam.

All those people out there who have been loosing sleep over the 'give' and 'take' ,just want to let u guyz know that some people actually write a post assuming that the people who would read them, are credible enough to underststand what they r talking about, even though one word is doesnt fit in.I mean , if u can comprehend dental decks with its weired sentence articulation, then these r not Da Vincis codes really!!!:meanie:And, English might i add ,is a second language to many members here.So sleep tight now.....😴.

hey nomoscalin, guess u could be of immense help to those appearing for their toefl exams considering your 'GIVE N TAKE' expertise but as far as i am concerned,i merely asked a question related to nbde and was quite pleased with replies from other helpful members!!!🙄

hi guys...
i think the whole point of these forums is to help each other out as we all are facing pretty much the same circumstances regarding our academics. while writing threads, most of us are not even bothered about what kind of grammar we are using...so lets get past this petty discussion and focus on the goal we ALL want to achieve....doing well in the NBDE.

i denounce and condemn, lol!!!

please people, some people on here are not that great at grammar and spelling, but overall give them a break, it is hard enough with: GPA, TOEFL, nbdeI and nbdeII, applications, financing, personal interviews, travel and putting life on hold, on top of the change needed to move and leave friends and family behind, it breaks the spirit of this forum to critique them.

i feel that when i read these threads sometimes i have a hard time understanding what their asking, and this in turn will make their interview that much harder.

i for example studied in Mexico and had the luck that i attended elementary school in California, so i learned how to spell and read, so i now know 2 languages the same, but i have had a hard time with learning or re-learning the dental sciences in English, this has made it hard on me as you truly need to know these to practice in the states.

remember we are to help!!, not criticize, if you want to do that join the political campaigns currently underway here is the U.S.

If I had my NBDE I in October, do I still have chance to apply for some program for 2009 ??

Thank you for help

re: october?

wow i think that would be tough, but from what i've read you would still be able to apply to some schools easily.

what about doing it earlier? and if you don't do so well retaking again? or having enough time to do a retest?
putting all your eggs in october test would put you in a bind for only that test don't you think?
there is a link with all the schools they all have diferent dates from last year but at least you get an idea, i would recomend you take the test between june-july max, that my thought on it.

good luck

Thank you for your reply man, but the thing I just started the actual studying 3 weeks ago, do you think it can be done properly within 4 months ?

well it depends on how far back you are?
if it has been a while and everything is new to you, well yes you do need time, but how much time do you have to study per day?

also is this your first time doing the test? and do you have access to all the different materials available out there at this time?

if you don't, let me know what i can help you with

Well, I used to work full time as DA eve since I have been to the States, but it didn't work out for me ( i didn't find time to study, plus it's a hectic job), so I work nowadays only 2 days a week and I have full 5 days to study ( I can do 8-10 hours studying in those, i believe ). I graduated 5 years ago and I think I have more than enough material to study form ( Thank you very much for your offer to help)
