Thought this would be a pretty good thread to get started to see what we are looking at for the 2007 application cycle... Post your stats, gpa's and DAT (if u have taken them), and what schools you are applying to. Ill start with mine in my sig below.

haha... this thread last year just bummed me out! you'll find there is a distinct correlation between the strength of somebody's application and their willingness to share it with everybody... and after reading the all-star apps, i didn't think i'd get in anywhere 🙄

I will apply to: OHSU, UoP, USC, UNLV, Arizona, NOVA, Temple, NYU, BU and maybe two more.

I will have programmed differnet cycles so you can type in your 2007 application info and schools.

taking dat june/july

currently shadowing my dentist have 4 hours now but looking at getting at least 30 throughout summer because I work full time, over 4000 hours research, 2 publications, was in the MARC program for 2 years (minorities access to research careers) and hawaii resident.

applying to: UNLV, UCLA, UW, UOP, NYU, Case?, Meharry.
Do I have a reasonable chance of getting into these schools, I'm applying to WICHE program.

Applying to: UAB, UNC, VCU, Maryland, Harvard, Louisville, and Penn

I would say you've got an excellent chance at NYU, UNLV, and Case, but don't apply to Meharry unless you're a minority. As for those other schools, you're going to have to knock the DAT outta the park. UOP won't care about your GPA as long as you do well on the DAT, but UCLA and UW are notoriously hard to get into. Study hard, the DAT is not a difficult test and if you put in the effort you'll be rewarded. Best of luck.

i totally hear ya.......if you have a 24 DAT, you want the whole world to know. but if you're a 19 or 20, then you shy away.....
