cGPA/sGPA: 3.89/ 3.87
MCAT: 517 balanced
CA resident
Female, Not URM
Large state school, 3rd year (not taking gap)
Clinical experience: 200 hours at low-income clinic (1.5 years, rich experience), 1 campus club for homeless (1 year, 40 hours)
Research: 300 hours clinical research (2.5 years, no pubs, no posters)
Shadowing: Less than 20 hours
Non-clinical: 20 hours teaching as a volunteer instructor, 25 hours in setting with children with autism (will have about 50 more in upcoming summer program, don't know if future volunteering matters to adcoms?), 10 hours miscellaneous
Work: 1 year in non-medical office job, just started a clinical research job
Other EC's: On leadership board of a campus arts club, multiple IM sports
Awards: Several Dean's List, 1 academic merit/needs scholarship

Sorry if my post is similar to others. Please help me reduce my school list. I'm not very interested in a research career, but more focused on primary care. I've been looking at MSAR but feel I'm missing something. Feel free to add schools if you think they are a good match! Thank you so much in advance!

Thank you @gyngyn ! Yes, this is my only MCAT. I assume you deleted most of those because I was higher than their median MCAT, and you kept the ones with lower medians (e.g. Wake and Tulane at 511) because they are OOS-friendly? Why delete VTech and USF? I am aiming lower because prestige is not my priority, and I just want to get in somewhere. I really appreciate your help.

Your application $ is best spent at the schools where you fit their mission and their stats.
Applying to schools that are unlikely to interview does not improve odds.
