Hey ppl i just wanted to know that when we apply through caapid they have $217 charges and then they ask for $68 for each university/school we apply.Do we also have to pay additional application fee foe each school we apply like mentioned on the chools website i mean in addition to the $68?I hope i u get what i am trying to ask

With $217 the 1st univerisity you apply for is taken care. However, you have to pay an additional fee with the supplimental application as specified by the school
For 2nd university onwards you have to add $68 to ADEA. Plus additional fee with supplimental application as I mentioned above.

Oh boy .....it is expensive than the normal procedure.....anyways does it make sense o go about applying through caapid if we have to apply to 2-3 schools?How exactly is caapid helpful?Please throw some light🙂

applying through caapid is a lot expensive...but, some schools accept applications only through CAAPID..so there is no other go...

they need to get their act together. my application wasn't sent out for over 1 month. it seems they've improved the speed now.
the above post is right, some Unis accept only CAPPID.

I doubt there is any school participating in CAAPID that accepts "normal" applications. They want the application thru CAAPID only.

Probably you are right bombay bds !!🙂 So can i stil apply thru caapid,i mean is there any deadline to apply thru caapid?Sorry for asking too many questions but its all very confusing🙄

So, you have to pay CAAPID 217+68 = $285
and, you have to pay BU directly 100$ and NYU directly 100$.

all universities have individual deadlines.
I suggest you go thru the CAAPID FAQs.

eventhough u r applying through caapid u have to pay a fee to the schools directly...
$ 217 is caapid processing fee + one school ..that means u don't have to pay $ 68 of their processing fee for that shool but still have to pay university specified fee directly to school) ..so u have to pay $ 100 directly to NYU....in case of Boston they will send u an email requesting the fee, then only u have to pay there...u should chek caapid directory & school website..hope this helps

Nope. No NBDE scores to CAAPID. just write them in ur application.

I am so confused, I don't know if I should send NBDE and TOEFL scores to my designated dental schools or should wait till they request supplmental documents. Every school has specific requirements in this regard. So you need to analyse each case based on the schools you have applied to. Some colleges require scores to be sent directly immediately after submitting the CAAPID application while some schools like Boston ask you to wait and submit them only if called for an interview.
