In the words of gyngyn: "they have done things never before seen." Such as they had the option to get federal loans for their students and they turned it down...😕 Honestly you would be better off at one of the better DO schools IMO. I wouldn't go as far as saying it's worse than the Carib, that's pretty exaggerated.
You can't really make that claim until you see match lists.
I don't get the big issue about the financial aspect of this school, by the way. Every school caters to those with more money, whether they do it for profit like this school, or whether they accept students who've been afforded better opportunities and thus a better application by having a rich family. That's life. Who cares. If there are real problems with this school, we should be discussing those (and I'm very eager to learn about those problems since I'm applying soon and would like to stay in CA), but all this talk about their financial aid decisions seems a bit blown out of proportion.
