Cal Poly SLO for pre med

Anyone know about Pre Med at SLO? I applied for Electrical Engineering there as an impulse decision and want to change to BioChem or something while I can. I checked it out not long ago and really liked it and feel like it would be a good fit, but so are the other colleges I am applying too. How do you think it compares to somewhere like UCI, UCSD or USC?
