Hey, everyone.

I'm at a Canadian university, and we receive our grades in percentages, with an accompanying letter grade. Can someone tell me how to calculate my GPA on the 4.0 and 4.33 grading systems?

Here is my school's grade breakdown:

90-100 A+
85-89 A
80-84 A-
76-79 B+
72-75 B
68-71 B-
64-67 C+
60-63 C
55-59 C-
50-54 D
0-49 F (fail)

At the University of California campuses, we use the 4.0 scale. I believe this scale varies slightly between different universities.

A+, A = 4.0
A- = 3.7
B+ = 3.3
B = 3
B- = 2.7
C+ = 2.3
C = 2
C- = 1.7

At the University of California campuses, we use the 4.0 scale. I believe this scale varies slightly between different universities. But I think this scale is the same one AMCAS uses since my UC GPA and my AMCAS GPA are exactly the same.

A+, A = 4.0
A- = 3.7
B+ = 3.3
B = 3
B- = 2.7
C+ = 2.3
C = 2
C- = 1.7
