Calculus Based Physics or Non-Calculus

Hey everyone,
I was wondering what is everyone's opinion on the Physics MCAT passages. Would a person who has taken engineering Physics (calculus) have an upperhand approaching the PS section as opposed to someone who has taken general non-calculus based physics or its all the same?

Not really, though the extra rigor might strengthen your physics knowledge. Take algebra based physics unless your major requires calculus based physics.

I would say yes. I took Calc-based physics, and the MCAT physics just seems so easy in comparison... Content review is a complete breeze, and I'm hardly missing any of the practice questions. Then again, physics has always been one of my strong points.

Calculus is required to really understand basic physics, and after you really understand basic physics, MCAT physics becomes a joke.
