Do you need calculus for med school (MD or DO) or for the MCAT? Some things I see say yes, others say no. I may as well NOT take it if I don't need it, but if I need it, then I'll take it. 🙂

some med schools require calculus as a prereq. You are not going to use it in the basic sciences for med school though.
