California Bay Area volunteering/shadowing advice

Hi all,

I'm looking for any folks with some recommendations on volunteer opportunities for clinical exposure in the Bay? As well as Dr's who are good to shadow? Or any place I can go to find this information out?

I haven't had a doctor in the Bay ( I moved there 3 years ago) so the mentor lists or cold calls seem to be my best option. Can I, without even being in med school (just taking pre-requisites), shadow a physician?

I guess I'll just need to start calling doctors and DOs.

I'm from the south bay and if anyone knows of physicians who allow students to shadow or places to volunteer do let me know
