Hello! Is anyone flying in for the interview on Oct. 26th? If so, where are you guys staying?

I emailed Gail this morning, the background request is as official as it'll get for now. She's still waiting for the approval of the initial letter before it will be sent out.

i got accepted! 🙂 received the letter of acceptance this morning. yeh

Has anyone interviewing on the 26th received their TBL reading assignment?? it was supposed to be sent to us today but i don't have anything yet 🙁

Thanks!

well they said it would be sent the Friday prior to our interview, and that was yesterday. so now i'm worried...

but I did get a pharmacokinetics article with a previous email that they said was a mistake, is this the article we're supposed to study?

not sure, I didn't go to a Northstate interview. if you live further away, it might take an extra day to get there.

during the sep interview, our tbl assignment was with the pharmacokinetics article!

I think that should be it! They just sent out another email with the same attachment

does anyone know how long the interview is approximately? is it really going to be 50 minutes?

The actual interview takes about 30-50 minutes...when i was interviewed however mine took 40 minutes because i was interviewed by two faculty members/staff separately. but i do know lately they have been making changes with the interview process....either way good luck to you and congrats!!

I had an interview on Oct 26. My interviewers, one faculty and one student asked me about 8 questions... Yes.. It takes 50 min....I also had an interview at Touro. It was much easier. My interviewers at Touro were so nice and friendly.

Any questions that caught you off guard? I am assuming you got the usuals.. Why pharmacy? Why our school?...

I actually didn't get asked either one of those questions! During my interview (Oct 26th), my interviewer honestly only focused on two things..one of my favorite authors and questions on my integrity. Half an hour was spent discussing what I thought about that specific author, his ideas, his works, etc, and the other half was spent on cheating scenarios (ie what would you do if a classmate was cheating..what would you do if a work situation made you uncomfortable..that sort of thing). None of the questions they asked were from left-field or anything.

I'd say from the previous interview, most of the people I talked to were asked "tell me about yourself" as their first question. I think the interviewers take what you say and then formulate questions based on what you said. So in essence, you can steer the convo your way..for instance, I mentioned my favorite author and so he asked me about him; likewise, I brought up a current news event in a question relating to integrity and he started a discussion on that. Long story short, the questions they ask aren't from a specific sheet (at least from my experience). They just make them up based on what you present to them. =]

has anyone got accepted from the interview on Sep 26? Did you guys send the deposit?

I got my acceptance yesterday, but I am going to decline.

I just got an acceptance via e-mail today (interviewed October 26th). 🙂

The first graduating class of CNUCOP achieved a 98.5% pass rate on the California pharmacy jurisprudence exam.

Compared to a pass rate of 87.1% of all test takers

👍

My heart hurts when I see young folks getting excited about a professional school that 1) is a for-profit entity and 2) has failed accreditation. Look at what happened with the first for-profit osteopathic medical school, Rocky Vista. Don't squander your money and future with for-profit schools.

How did your interview go for CNUCOP? Did you have to write an essay? what subject? how long is the interview? I'm so nervous.

Hello everyone! I will be interviewing soon! Any tips for th interview? Anyone else scheduled for the interview on the 25th?

I have an interview for the 25th as well. Hope it goes smooth.

Hope for the best for all of us. We all worked hard for this. Ill see you there 🙂

I'm thinking about adding some out of state schools to my pharmacy designations, considering it's almost the deadline should I bother applying to this school?

It's not accredited so that's already a knock against it. Is it worth your time to risk going to an unaccredited school

does this school have mandatory lecture attendance?

Omgosh. What happened to rocky vista?? My fiancé applied there but ended up going elsewhere.

yes we do have lectures and attendance is mandatory

Also interviewed on the 25th. Accepted!🙂 Phone call 2/6, email 2/7. Good luck to ya all waiting. Will they get fully accredited this year? Please give me your 2 cents.

Interviewed 1/25 and Accepted as well 🙂 I got called on 2/2 and email 2/6. Hope to see you there

I think there is a very high chance they will get accredited this year because first of all the new Dean has been working extremely hard at getting accredited as he should be because I think this is their last shot. The 2nd graduating class will be graduating this year and the school will do everything it can to make sure they don't lose their chance at accreditation and in no means let this opportunity pass them by. I think this school is a very good school with a very enthusiastic staff that are more than willing to help to ensure their students are prepared for what comes next. We seen the results in the NAPLEX and the CPJE pass rate of CNUCOP. There a lot of people speaking nonsense about the school probably because they got rejected or put on the waiting list and are trying to get people to reject the offer of admissions or not apply at all. I am going to accept the offer of admissions regardless because the accreditation thing does not bother me none. Well other than that, were just going to have to wait and see but most likely they will be accredited this year. 🙂

Judging by the way how things are going, I hope so, I hope so.
